iGuard Detection

What is iGuard Detection?

iGuard Detection is a temporary wireless alarm system with verification.

The system comes as a complete package to suit your requirements and can be used internally or externally.  Best of all, it does not require a power source so its perfect for vacant properties.

When one of the detectors is triggered, the iGuard system sends a signal alerting to the fact that motion has been detected.  The detector also has a built-in camera which records a short burst of video footage.  This footage can then be reviewed to see whether or not a response is required.

The system can be linked to central monitoring station (or Alarm Receiving Centre) who will review the footage and then following a specified 'escalation' procedure.  Alternatively, the alerts and footage can be sent to a mobile phone or email address of your choice.

Why Use IGuard Detection?

  • The video verification cuts down on having to respond to false alarms

  • The system does not require a power source so is ideal for vacant properties, construction sites and remote buildings

  • The siren can be remotely triggered so in residential areas it is less likely to be a nuisance to neighbouring properties

  • The system can be installed both internally and externally to maximise protection

  • Used in vacant properties, the system identifies intrusion immediately and can be used to verify intrusion before the intruders can claim occupancy rights

It is important to remember that the iGuard Detection System is not CCTV.  It is an intruder detection system (just like an intruder alarm).  The added benefit is that when it is triggered it records a short burst of footage which can be used to decide if the activation is genuine or has been cause by an animal or an object blowing in the wind.

What Does the System Include?

Control Panel

The control panel is the central part of the system. All detectors, sirens and keypads link back to the control panel.

The panel is battery powered and WIFI or SIM enabled so it doesn't need to be connected to a power source or telephone system.

Indoor Motion Detector

The indoor motion detectors are neat and discrete and can be fitted anywhere internally to cover vulnerable areas or access points.

The sensor range can be adjusted to ensure that the appropriate level of cover is provided.

Once triggered, the detector also records a short burst of footage which can be reviewed remotely for verification.

Outdoor Motion Detector

As with the indoor detector, the outdoor motion detector range can be adjusted to ensure that vulnerable areas are adequately covered and once triggered will record a short burst of footage for review.

The outdoor detector is IP65 waterproof rating and can operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +60°C

Remote Badge Reader

The system will always come with a digital keypad which can be used to arm and disarm the system using a code.

However, it can be useful to have a badge reader positioned remotely from the control panel.

This can be used by authorised 'fob holders' who can disarm the system before entering the site - reducing the chance of false activations.

Siren / Strobe

As an added deterrant, the system can also incorporate a siren / strobe light.

The siren can be setup so that it either triggers on every activation, or if the alarm is in a residential area the siren can be remotely triggered once the footage verifies an intruder.
